It's important to take care of your physical and emotional health during pregnancy. Your GP and midwife team will be there to support and guide you every step of the way.
Everyone is different and has different views about how they want their pregnancy journey to go. It's important to access the right care for you. You can ask your Midwife or Health Visitor for support and advice.
If you've found out that you're pregnant, you can let the NHS know by using their quick and easy self-referral form. Your self-referral form is called Badger Notes.

Badger Notes
Badger Notes, is an electronic system aimed at giving mothers more access to and control of their pregnancy records and care notes.
This is an online portal and app that gives you access to your maternity records over the internet, using a computer or even a phone.
The information includes all your maternal notes that have been added by your GP, midwife or other healthcare professional, allowing you to view all the information that has been written about you and your pregnancy.
Self-refer your pregnancy to York and Scarborough THFT.
See more information about Badger Notes on the York Hospitals Maternity Service website.
