Feeling your baby's movements

Feeling your baby's movements

During the second trimester of your pregnancy, around 16 to 24 weeks you will start to feel your baby’s movements. This could range from a slight flutter to big kick.

Feeling a baby move is normal and healthy and a great way to know all is well with them.

If you do notice that the movements have slowed down or stopped then it is important to contact your midwife immediately.

See more information about your baby's movements in pregnancy on the Humber and North Yorkshire Maternity website.
