Being active in pregnancy
It's important to stay healthy during pregnancy, to help your body deal with the changes it will go through during the pregnancy and birth. Being fit and healthy can also help lead to a healthy happy baby.
Exercising is a great way to stay fit and healthy when you are pregnant. If you are having a normal pregnancy, without complications, it is completely safe to exercise. However, you should always consult a GP or Midwife first if you are worried about anything and they will carry out a risk assessment on you.
