The Healthy Child Service offer a 2 year health and development review for your child. An appointment letter will be sent to you just after their second birthday.
We'll also ask you to complete a questionnaire about your child's development before the appointment, to give us a good understanding of your child’s development. This is a chance to talk about your child’s health and development and what you can do to help them.
All children are unique and will reach development milestones at a time and rate that’s unique to them. If you have any concerns about their development, we can discuss this and offer support and advice if needed.
We'll also talk about:
- immunisations
- healthy eating
- speech, language and communication
- play and activities
- dental health
- family well-being and emotional health
- sleep
- childcare
- toilet training
- vitamins
If you have any concerns about your child’s progress, or if your child has any specific health or development needs, you can discuss them during the appointment.
