The York Family Information Service is a free and impartial information service for parents and carers of children and young people aged 0 to 19 (or up to 25 for disabled children).

We can help with anything and everything around family life. If you're a parent or carer and have a question but don't know where to go, then please get in touch.

We provide a wide range of options for getting in touch, including seeing us in-person and attending a range of community venues.

By telephone

You can contact an Information Officer on telephone: 01904 554444 for a chat about the information you need. Feel free to ask us anything, if we cannot answer your question we will try and find out for you or point you in the right direction.

Lines are open Monday to Friday from 10.00am until 4.00pm, excluding Bank Holidays. If you cannot get through, then please do leave a message and we'll get back to you.
