Warm welcome - pop in and see us
We have been offering a range of warm welcomes at children’s centres and other community venues since June 2023 to September 2024. Look out for our revised offer from October 2024 onwards.
Our Warm Welcomes will offer activities, refreshments and access to a range of information helpful to families.
You will be greeted by a member of the Raised York Family Hub network. There will be an Information Officer available if you want to have a chat about specific information or other activities or services available.

- Our City Festival (annual event)
- York Pride annual event
- York Mumbler nearly new sale (quarterly)
- Job Centre (quarterly)
Dates planned for November and December 2024
- Wednesday 13 November at York Monkgate Jobcentre, for a Wellbeing Event from 10.30am to 12.30pm
- Thursday 14 November at the Baby Week launch event - this event has been cancelled
- Friday 15 November at Tang Hall Community Centre for a community breakfast club and advice hub from 9.30am to 10.30am
- Tuesday 17 December at the Collective Sharehouse for community food support from 9.00am to 11.00am
Family Hub Christmas Parties
Parties are held 10.00am to midday (Santa visit 10.30am to 11.30am) at the following Family Hubs:
- Wednesday 4 December at Hob Moor Children’s Centre
- Wednesday 11 December at The Avenues Children’s Centre
- Wednesday 18 December at Clifton Children’s Centre
