Starting a career in Early Years

Whatever your circumstances, a career in Early Years is what you make it. People start work in early years at many levels, from a wide range of backgrounds and in a variety of different jobs.

You could enter:

• through being a volunteer
• from school, as there are specialised 14- to 19-year-old diplomas and apprenticeships in early years
