Calm Hour at Professor Kettlestring
Step into a gentler moment amidst our curious contraptions. Opportunity to view the venue before admission, music soundtrack turned off, main house lights switched on, aroma machines withdrawn, flashes turned off all photography equipment, friendly venue staff on hand if needed. Sensory backpack available during visit upon request.

KAILEY – A Powerful New Show for Young People
KAILEY is a bold, funny, and moving 1-hour play created specifically with young people in mind (recommended for ages 14 and over). It tells the story of an 18-year-old navigating life after her mum is sent to prison, a deeply personal story, that is inspired by my own experience of having both parents in prison as a teenager.
Inspired by writer Kerry Wright’s own lived experience, KAILEY is a bold new play that shines a light on society’s forgotten young people. Funny and searingly honest, KAILEY doesn’t ask for sympathy; it demands you look closer.
The show explores themes around family, friendship, growing up fast, the criminal justice system, and youth resilience, all through a lens of humour and honesty. It’s designed to open up important conversations while reflecting the strength and complexity of young people’s lives.
