Yorkshire Roller Disco is launching on 1 May, then every Friday and Saturday from 7.00pm to 8.30pm following that.

Check the Yorkshire Roller Disco website for upcoming dates and to book a slot. We also except walk-ins on the day for the spontaneous ones!

Free, but you have to book a space!

Calling girls age 10-18 - join Make Space York in West Bank Park for a relaxed, welcoming session where you can hang out, try some creative activities, and share your views and ideas for the park.

You can get involved in:

  • tote bag decorating
  • badge making
  • nature-inspired jewellery
  • creative activites to share your thoughts and ideas

It's a relaxed crafty afternoon with the chance to share your views on the park - exploring themes like feeling safe, belonging, friendship, joy and how parks can better support older girls. Your ideas will help shape future improvements and activities.

This is free to attend but places need booking advance -places are limited, so only book a place at Make Space if you can attend.

This event is being run in conjunction with the Friends of West Bank Park. The Make Space York project & the Friends of Rowntree Park are supporting them looking at ways to make the park more welcoming to older girls.

Calling families to go wild in the woods - our popular family forest school is back on.

Come and join us in the woods for a relaxed, hands-on session where you can slow down, get outdoors and enjoy nature together. Best suited to those aged 2-12 (something for all ages).

Each session is a little adventure of its own, with activities like:

  • fire lighting
  • whittling
  • nature crafts
  • outdoor cooking
  • woodland skills and discovery

No two sessions are ever the same, there’s always something new to try, explore and enjoy.

Led by our wonderful forest school trained volunteer Christine, these sessions are all about giving families the chance to connect with nature and each other in a fun, welcoming environment.

Come and join us for a morning of fresh air, creativity and a little bit of woodland magic!

A multi-cultural celebration of healthcare, wellbeing, arts, diverse food and entertainment.

The event includes a programme of dance and music performances, along with stalls selling traditional food and offering information and advice, including York Family Information Service, Healthy Child Service and NHS colleagues.

Buzzy Bees Activity Session

We are absolutely buzzing to be joined by Andy from York & District Beekeepers Association for an unBEElievable activity session.

A chance for little ones to come and learn about beehives, pollination, how bees help our environment to thrive, and why it's so important to care for them.

There will be hands on activities, colouring in, question time and of course the opportunity to dress up and become a beekeeper too!

This activity is aimed at 4 to 8 year olds and has a run time of approximately 30 minutes.

IMPS May Half Term Holiday Club

The Beat Lab! Get ready to make some beats with Jodie and Tom with accessible music technology!

Ready to make some epic tunes? Come on down to The Beat Lab where we’ll explore accessible music technology to make looping beats and tunes. We’ll be using switches to record your own sounds, iPads with apps to create the wildest sounds and of course there’ll be dancing! A sensory VIP area is available to chill out in when you need a rest from the main club.

iMUSE, a 1 to 1 interactive multisensory and relaxation session is running alongside the holiday club. Let us know if you’d like a session with Hannah.

All our IMPs holiday clubs are fully inclusive. And you don’t need any experience in music to take part.
