Children's Centres

York's Children’s Centres are open to families for planned and bookable appointments.

Some of our Children's Centres are also home to York's Family Hubs.

The following services are available at our Children's Centres:

• family learning courses
• baby self weigh
• midwifery
• York Health Trainers

Healthy Child Service

York's Healthy Child Service (HCS) delivers information, advice and support for children and parents of children aged 0 to 19 years old.

The service incorporates York's Health Visiting Service and School Nurse Service.

Midwifery Service

Community midwives for York offer appointments in some of our Children's Centres.
