The WellComm Toolkit can be used to track children’s progress and the interventions put in place. There are a number of ways in which a setting may choose to track progress including:

• purchasing a subscription to the WellComm Online Report Wizard. This online resource enables the user to quickly and accurately calculate scores, track progress and produces a variety of customisable reports. Further information can be found on the GL assessment website
• using a WellComm Tracker sheet. Settings can use this pre-made template to help track children’s progress using the WellComm Toolkit and keep a record of interventions. Adapt this document to meet your needs
• WellComm Group Profile Sheet. This can be found at the back of the scoresheets in the Little Book of Scoresheets and Rules. This is a basic paper record that can be photocopied and repeated to track progress

WellComm Returns

If and when you accessed a WellComm Toolkit via Early Talk for York, a condition of doing so was that you screened all children on an annual basis and returned the results of this screening to us. We would like you to return it to us between 1 October and 31 January each year.

Here is the Excel template for you to download and populate. The spreadsheet contains all the necessary instructions for doing so, as well as the necessary information about data sharing. Once you have completed this, return it to us via secure email. To help you to do this, please see a user guide for the DoqEx system which you will need to use.
