Workforce Development Support
Partners within the Raise York Family Hub Network are committed to the delivery of an agreed and high-quality training and supervision offer which supports the family hub network’s workforce to apply the latest evidence to their practice. Safer Children York
All practitioners and volunteers working with children, young people and their families and carers should keep up to date with relevant safeguarding training. Safer Children York provide information on elearning opportunities and training opportunities from partner organisations. The CYSCP also disseminate learning from serious case reviews and audits and this information can be found on the CYSCP Learning and Development page.
Workforce Development Unit
The Workforce Development Unit provides learning and development opportunities to individuals and organisations who provide care, support or services to adults and children in York. Log in to MyLO or create an account to find out what courses are available.
York Learning
York's local adult education provider. York Learning run skills courses in English, Maths and Computing, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) as well as apprenticeships and a variety of projects to support people into employment. Many of the skills courses are free.
York's SEND Universal Offer
Access to the specialist teachers is through the Learning Support Hub. Settings and schools can request support using the request forms on the Specialist Teaching Team and Learning Support Hub pages.
