Our modern, purpose-built premises in Heslington provide care for up to 94 children across dedicated rooms for infants, toddlers, and pre-school.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team. You will work in a fun, dynamic environment where no 2 days are the same and have a direct impact on children's development.

About the Role:

Position: Early Years Practitioner

The successful candidate will work across all nursery rooms and provide cover according to the needs of the nursery.

Responsibilities:

Providing high-quality care and early education to children.
Helping to create a safe and engaging environment where children can learn and grow.
Supporting children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Acting as a line manager to Early Years Assistant Practitioners.
Completing key person observations and assessments.
Maintaining records and administration systems.
Providing activities within the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

Essential Requirements:

A publicly recognised Level 3 qualification in childcare.

Childcare provider / Organisation: York Campus Nursery
Hours: 30 hours per week (8.00am to 12.30pm Monday to Wednesday, and 8.00am to 6.00pm Thursday and Friday - shifts may vary)
Rate of pay: £29,209.47 (£15.14 per hour)
