Early Years Assistant Practitioner - York Campus Nursery

York Campus Nursery is looking for an Early Years Assistant Practitioner with relevant experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years.

You will work as part of a team to plan and carry out activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

About the Role:

Position: Early Years Assistant Practitioner

Responsibilities:

• Caring for children aged 0 to 5 years.
• Planning and carrying out activities to support children's social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development.
• Working as part of a team to maintain a high-quality and stimulating learning environment.
• Providing a wide range of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Supporting the nursery's core principles of quality and consistency, secure foundations, partnership working, equality of opportunity, and anti-discriminatory practice.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• A publicly recognised Level 2 or above qualification in childcare.

• Hours: 25 hours per week

• Rate of pay: £13.86 per hour
