Early Years Assistant Practitioner - Baby Room - York Campus Nursery

York Campus Nursery is looking for an experienced Early Years Assistant Practitioner to join its team on a part-time basis, working within the baby room.

You will help provide high-quality childcare and support children's learning and development through a stimulating environment that follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.

About the Role:

Position: Early Years Assistant Practitioner - Baby Room

Responsibilities:

• Caring for children aged 0 to 5 years.
• Planning and delivering activities that support children's development in line with EYFS.
• Maintaining a high-quality, stimulating learning environment.
• Working collaboratively as part of a nursery team.
• Supporting the nursery's commitment to equality, inclusion and anti-discriminatory practice.
• Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
• A publicly recognised Level 2 childcare qualification or above.
• A commitment to delivering outstanding early years care and education.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday:

• 08:00am to 1:00pm.
• Based within the nursery's baby room.
