Osbaldwick Montessori in York is looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our small, passionate team.

We are a nurturing, Montessori-inspired setting where children are encouraged to explore, grow, and develop at their own pace in a calm and respectful environment.

About the Role:

Position: Baby / toddler room staff

Responsibilities:

• Supporting all children in a calm, purposeful setting.
• Delivering high-quality care and learning experiences rooted in Montessori principles.
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and curiosity in every child.
• Building strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
• A genuine passion for working with young children, especially babies.
• A calm, nurturing approach and strong communication skills.
• Interest in Montessori philosophy. Montessori training is a plus but not essential.

• Childcare provider / Organisation: Osbaldwick Montessori

• Hours: 40 hrs per week, one day off per week

• Rate of pay: From £13 per hour
