Tutor Doctor York is a local tutoring business and part of the internationally recognised Tutor Doctor network.
We're currently seeking qualified teachers only to deliver high-quality English, Maths, and Science tuition across all key stages, including primary, secondary, GCSE, and A Level.
Tuition is delivered one to one in students’ homes, schools, family hubs, or online, with some daytime, in-school work available.
This role offers flexible, part-time work with competitive hourly rates of £18 to £25, reliable monthly payments, and long-term local assignments.
We provide full administrative support, vetted placements, and access to professional guidance and resources, allowing you to focus fully on teaching while choosing the students and hours that suit you.
Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, have strong knowledge of the UK curriculum, and be confident adapting teaching to individual needs, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). An enhanced DBS check, safeguarding and Prevent training, and the right to work in the UK are required.
