York Campus Nursery - Casual Early Years Staff
We're looking for casual nursery staff to help support the nursery staff during periods of leave. The nursery is open Monday to Friday, 8.00am until 6.00pm.
Experience of working with children in a nursery setting is essential.
These are casual roles therefore, hours will be offered on an adhoc basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Early Years Assistant Practitioner
Hourly rate of £12.42 plus holiday pay.
Key duties:
- work as directed by the Early Years Practitioner and Room Leader within the general framework
- assist with the assessments of children and contribute to learning journals
A publicly recognised childcare qualification at Level 2 or above is preferred.
Early Years Practitioner
Hourly rate of £13.67 plus holiday pay.
Key duties:
- complete key person observations and assessments
- maintain records
- provide activities within the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
A publicly recognised level 3 qualification in childcare is required.
General information about the available roles
As a casual staff member, you'll also receive holiday pay on top of your hourly rate, which is paid at 12.07%. An enhanced DBS check will be required (cost covered by us).
