Baby Room Leader - Adventurers Day Nursery

We're looking for a Baby Room Leader to join our friendly team at Adventurers Day Nursery in Fulford, York.

Are you:

• enthusiastic, caring and have a passion for working with children?
• able to read endless books and sing nursery rhymes all day long?
• ready to act out your favourite book character and make up stories?
• able to drink endless cups of role play tea, eat plastic pizza and play dress up?
• willing to get messy with an unlimited supply of paint and craft resources?

Do you have:

• a suitable Level 3 Childcare qualification or higher?
• previous experience working with babies?
• sound knowledge of the EYFS and ability to provide exciting and stimulating activities to promote learning and development?
• strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a small team effectively?
• knowledge of Health and Safety and Safeguarding requirements?

Your responsibilities will include:

• working alongside the Managers to provide high quality childcare and education for the children in our care
• implementing the requirements of our policies and procedures
• leading our baby room and providing support for a small team of practitioners
• good communication skills to maintain the strong relationships we have with our parents and families
• promoting inclusive practice across all areas
